Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU) is a government-financed public university that is focused on liberal arts education and activities. The University was established in 2006 and located at Nama para Battala, Trishal Upazila, Mymensingh in Bangladesh. JKKNIU Admission Test Requirements
According to the JKKNIU admission circular, the admission authority takes the admission test for five individual units. All the unit (Al, AP, B, C, D) has a separate requirement for the students of Humanities, Business Studies and Science/Equivalent which we have described below.
AL Unit Admission Test Requirements
- Humanities Discipline: Total GPA 7.50 and Minimum GPA 3.50 Both in SSC and HSC (Including 4th Subject).
- Business Studies and Science Discipline: Total GPA 8.00 and Minimum GPA 3.50 Both in SSC and HSC (Including 4th Subject).
- Vocational/Madrasha Discipline: Total GPA 8.50 and Minimum 3.50 Both in SSC and HSC (Including 4th Subject).
- To get enrolled in the English Department, candidates have at least a GPA of 4.00 out of GPA 5.00 in HSC Examination and must need 18 marks in the MCQ test out of 45 Marks.
- Appeared candidates have to participate again in a written exam in the English language and literature on 30 marks. (Min pass mark 12 and quota pass mark 10).
AP Unit Admission Test Requirements
- Humanities and Business Studies Discipline: Total GPA 7.00 and Minimum GPA 3.50 both in SSC and HSC (Including 4th Subject)
- Science Discipline: Total GPA 7.50 and Minimum GPA 3.50 both in SSC and HSC (Including 4th Subject).
- Vocational/Madrasah/Equivalent Discipline: Total GPA 8.50 and Minimum 3.50 both in SSC and HSC (Including 4th Subject).
- MCQ passed candidates need to give a practical examination.
B Unit Admission Test Requirments
- Science Discipline: Total GPA 7.50 and Minimum GPA 3.50 both in HSC and SSS with 4th subject
- Diploma Discipline: Total GPA 6.50 and Minimum GPA 2.50 (with GPA 4.00 Scale)
C Unit Admission Test Requirments
- Must have GPA 3.50 both in HSC and SSC
- Business Studies and Humanities disciplines have to total GPA of 7.00 in HSC and SSC
- Science, Technical and Equivalent disciplines have to total GPA of 7.50 in SSC and HSC
- Candidates must have 8 out of 25 marks in the English MCQ test.
D Unit Admission Test Requirements
- Science Discipline: Min GPA and Total GPA 8.00 3.50 in SSC and HSC.
- Business Studies Discipline: Total GPA 8.00 and Min GPA 3.50 in SSC and HSC with 4th subject.
- Humanities Discipline: Min GPA 3.75 and Total GPA of 8.00 with 4th subject
- Technical and Equivalent Disciplines: Min 3.50 (SSC & HSC), Total 8.00 out of 10
- Candidates must be passed with 8 out of 25 marks in the English MCQ test.

Note: All the unit (AL, AP, B, C, and D) MCQ test pass marks number is 40. Quota applicant pass mark number is 33 and the practical pass mark number is only 33. Besides they have no unit wise condition. The merit list will be calculated based on the total score.

Admit Card Download
Candidate can download the admit card from the official website of https://jkkniu.edu.bd/ between 2 November to 10 November. Before downloading the admit card applicant must be upload 300×300 pixel color photograph with JPG formate & file size should be a maximum 50kb. After downloading the admit card need to color print with A4 size offset paper. The candidate has to sign-in on the “Student Signature” and bear it in the exam hall. Remember, without admit card a candidate will not participate in the admission test.
