Rajshahi University in Bangladesh
Rajshahi University is the second-largest public university and one of the top public universities in the northern region in Bangladesh. It was established under the East Bengal Act XV on July 6, 1953, when Bangladesh was East Pakistan. The number of current students of Rajshahi University is about more than 35 thousand. The university is located at the green premises of Motihar which is very close to one of the longest rivers the Padma and seven kilometers (7 KM) east from the center of Rajshahi City. Honorable Dr. Itrat Hossain Zeberi was the first Vice-Chancellor of the University of Rajshahi. After established, Its normal academic activities began in 1954. During the early days of inception, most of the classes were held at Rajshahi Government College. In 1961 the University moved to its present campus. Currently, This university is free from all political unrest until now. There is a total of 753 acres area in Rajshahi University Campus. The University has 5 higher research institutes, under the 10 faculties and 56 departments are currently being run in Rajshahi University’s educational activities. There is a total of 18 residential halls (eleven for men and six for women and one is International Dormitory) allotted for the students on the northeast side of the campus.

RU Admission 2020-21 Exam Method and Marks
According to the RU Admission Authority announcement that Admission examination will be held on the written method from the 2020-21 academic session and the Fine Arts students must have participated in the practical exam. The practical exam time will be published on the official web site of Rajshahi University.

Written Exam: 40 Mark
Total: 100 Mark
Note: Students can not enter the exam hall with any electronic devices such as Mobile Phone, Calculator and Smart Hand Watch.
