Private Universities in Bangladesh

Private Universities in Bangladesh was established after the institution of the Public Univesity Act of 1992. According to the Government maintained a website of Bangladesh, there are more than Hundred of private universities in Bangladesh. Most of the private universities are in Dhaka Division. Asian University of Women

The Islamic University of Technology was established by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in 1981 and is located in Gazipur, Dhaka Division. This University is specialized in Engineering and Technology (Muslim students only).

The Asian University of Women was established by the Asian University for Women Support Foundation (AUWSF) in 2008. Usually, it’s United States-based non-profit corporation and specializes in international, liberal arts and sciences studies.
